About Cassiodorus Press
What Is Cassiodorus Press?
Cassiodorus Press is a publishing house dedicated to preserving the tradition of the classical liberal arts as it was harmonized by the early and medieval church fathers. The Press focuses primarily on scholarly translations of ancient and medieval texts, while also publishing new works which help the lay reader enter into this rich body of literature.
Cassiodorus Press arose out of a need for accessible editions of the texts through which the tradition of humane letters has been kept alive. We hope that the offerings of our Press will continue Cassiodorus’s mission of passing on the liberal arts to a new generation of scholars and enthusiasts.
